▎ Binance outflow: on-chain list of every Tether/Circle freeze last night (≈$2.4B at the moment of freezing)

We monitor USDT/USDC blacklist occasions straight from the contracts, so here's what the chain exhibits for final night time's Binance outflow (29 Oct, UTC). Binance hasn't confirmed a hack; it says consumer funds are protected, and CZ stated it appears to have been hacked.

▎ The place the money got here from: Binance 14 and Binance 16 sent 1.67B USDT to 0x5227f603C1eE34CE3C06eFe6477003BDfCCB2f8c at 20:24. Binance's TRON scorching wallet sent 612.7M USDT to TG5iBMQPrDzJJAUM8GMVBf1hRaJ1wvzsGi at 20:22.

▎ The freezes (stability in the meanwhile of every):

▎ - 21:01:35: Tether froze 0x5227… with 971.1M USDT

▎ - 21:04:59: Circle froze 823M USDC on the same tackle

▎ - 21:07:55: Tether additionally blocked it on Avalanche (eight.41M USDt)

▎ - 21:09:12: Tether froze TG5iB… on TRON with 312.7M USDT

▎ - By 21:21: three extra addresses with 271.0M USDT

▎ - 22:06:23: Tether froze Binance 14 itself, the recent pockets it all came from (its USDC shouldn't be frozen)

▎ Issues I haven't seen reported:

▎ - Six of the frozen wallets have been already empty. The money had moved on, partly to wallets which are still not frozen.

▎ - 0x5227 stored receiving USDT from Binance 14 after it was frozen (+204.3M), so it now sits at 1.18B. A frozen pockets can receive however can't ship.
