On a new show on prime, a group stole £5 million from an investment firm and someone got paid £5 million in crypto.
They had to log into an online account, to transfer it to a hardware wallet. Then there was a warning saying if the hardware wallet was lost or destroyed the money would be gone.
I personally find it irritating whenever TV shows don't understand what they are putting in the show. They would never be putting this money in or transferring between online accounts instead of direct to the hardware wallet. They clearly think you have to send it and download it to the hardware wallet and once it's on there, that's the only place it is.
They logged in from a home computer to do this as well ????♂️
